An excellent opportunity exists for a motivated Advanced Trainee in Geriatric Medicine to join a supportive, multidisciplinary team at a leading tertiary referral hospital. Accredited for RACP Advanced training, the role offers diverse clinical exposure and professional development across inpatient, outpatient, and community geriatric services. In this position, you will: Provide day-to-day inpatient and outpatient care for older adults Manage a broad case mix including cognitive disorders, dementia, falls, movement disorders, perioperative care, and complex chronic disease management Contribute to Orthogeriatrics , Memory and Falls Clinics, and Movement Disorders services Participate in outreach programs , supporting care delivery to rural and remote communities, including Indigenous health The Service The Geriatric Medicine Service is based within a modern, purpose-built facility which offers; Dedicated geriatric and rehabilitation wards Comprehensive outpatient services (memory, falls, orthogeriatrics, movement disorders) Close integration with rehabilitation, emergency medicine, and general medical services Significant exposure to Indigenous health and culturally diverse patient populations Multidisciplinary team support including allied health, nursing, and community services This role provides an outstanding training environment, with unique clinical exposure not often seen elsewhere in Australia .
